A current title commitment is required before an ALTA Survey can be completed. The surveyor will refer to the title commitment for the legal description of the property and for the legal description of any encumbrances (exceptions). If the survey discovers any encroachments, they should be shown graphically, and a note indicating the nature of the encroachment may also be added.The certification language of the ALTA Survey should include the names of the affected parties, including as appropriate the buyer, seller, title company, and lender. During the past 23 years, DIMCO has gained extensive experience in DGPS hydrographic surveying.  Some of the rivers on which we have provided these services include the Mississippi River, Red River, Yazoo River, Big Black River, Arkansas River, White River, Qoachita River, Colorado River, Columbia River, Savannah River, San Bernard River, Sabine Neches River, Tombigbee River, Illinois River, Ohio River, Allegheny River, Monongahela River, Missouri River, East Pearl River, West Pearl River, Matagorda River, St. Francis River, Cache River, and the Gulf Intercoastal Waterway.

 We have provided these services for pre- and post-dredge analysis and volume calculations, fish habitat studies, discharge studies, revetment condition surveys, gaming facilities, dike construction and hydroelectric power plant studies.  During this time, we have completed more than 2,400 DGPS automated hydrographic surveys of bays, rivers and harbors, with more than 150 of these projects completed in the last two years.  We currently own 7 DGPS positioning systems, including 3 with RTK differential accuracy capabilities.

 In the past three years, we have completed more than 200 river miles and more than 15 harbor surveys for monitoring maintenance dredging; over 230 revetment condition/construction surveys; and over 610 miles of MS River general hydro surveys. 

​ We have also worked on many small creeks and canals, oxbows, harbors (Vicksburg Harbor, Rosedale Harbor, Yellow Bend Port, Greenville Harbor, Lake Providence Harbor, and Claiborne County Port), tributaries and bays (Mobile Bay, Chesapeake Bay, Delaware Bay, and San Francisco Bay.)
