DIMCO is a multi-disciplined surveying and mapping firm that was incorporated in 1991 with two employees. Since then, we have grown to be a 50+ employee firm with two offices. Our core group of employees is comprised of experienced, highly qualified personnel who are trained to supervise others while providing your project with survey/oceanographic support, data collection, and data processing.
In the beginning, we supplied only basic hydrographic data collection and mapping. In 1992, we began using real-time differential GPS for positioning. We soon added boundary, construction, and topographic land surveying capabilities, and now have an entire department dedicated to our land-based operations. For the past six years, DIMCO has been providing water quality and current circulation information along with our basic DGPS bathymetry and mapping.
The most recent capability we have added is "in-house" fabrication. We can now custom fabricate sensor/equipment mounts and modify vessels to meet our clients’ needs.
