In-House Fabrication

We have extensive in-house capabilities in the areas of instrument and equipment design and fabrication.  DIMCO has broad capabilities in equipment mount design and modification along with customized welding applications.  We employ five persons with a wide range of welding / fitting experience, including boat and trailer repair / fabrication, instrumentation mount fabrication, oil rig construction, boiler construction, refinery construction, and pressure pipe fitting / welding.

Having an in-house fabrication shop has many advantages.  We are able to custom build mounts for instrumentation that we have used in the field.  This is very important because, without understanding the operations of an instrument in the field, the customized mount may not function as planned or required.  This is the main reason DIMCO added a fabrication shop. Before having in-house fabrication capabilities, we were at the mercy of shops who didn’t understand our needs, or in repair cases, shops that were too busy to handle our problems in a timely manner.  Our facility is capable of working with aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and titanium.
