ADCP Discharge & Velocity Data collection

DIMCO personnel have over 22 years of experience in the collection of conventional and ADCP discharge data.  We currently own five digital velocity meters and one Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler.  Our experience includes the computer software design for the post-processing, graphing, charting and presentation of ADCP data.  This includes the combining of ADCP data, single beam fathometer data, and DGPS for the correction of discharge errors due to loss of bottom track and bed movement.  DIMCO employees have developed software for the modeling and mapping of ADCP data.  This HyPAS Software (Hydraulic Processes Analysis Software) is currently being utilized by the Portland, Philadelphia, Norfolk, Omaha, Kansas City and New York Districts of the COE, and by Waterways Experiment Station.
